The ZHdK Startup Finder provides insights into startups, spin-offs and non-profit organisations from the ZHdK ecosystem. It shows the innovative potential and diversity of founders from the ZHdK who generate cultural, social, ecological and economic impact.

To ensure transparency and data accuracy only companies and organisations are listed which have an entry in the commercial register in Switzerland or abroad.

Definitions

Spin-off: A company or organisation that emerged based on intellectual property developed in a study programme or research project at ZHdK. At least one of the founders is a former student, researcher or lecturer at ZHdK.

Startup: A company or organisation that emerged from founding activities of students, alumnae and alumni or lecturers at ZHdK, not directly linked to a study programme or research project.

Non-profit organisation: A non-profit organisation that emerged based on intellectual property developed in a study programme or research project at ZHdK or from other founding activities of students, alumnae and alumni, researchers or lecturers at ZHdK.
